Spane Boswell
As of this writing, Spane is seven years old, and has been diagnosed with Dandy Walker Syndrome, Incidental Mega cisterna magna. Spane is a wiz at math, loves trains, and is a good boy - until night fall when he can have an almost complete personality change and hears voices telling him to do bad things. Spane and I are collaborating on an on-line picture book, and you can see Spane's Picture Book to see how far we have come.
Adrienne Boswell
I am Spane's mother, and at 54 years of age as this writing, am writing these entries. I am a gourmet cook, and you can find my recipes. I am a web developer, and visit Arbpen Designs to see sites I have developed.
Douglas Sutton
Douglas is Spane's father. He is, as of this writing, 42 years old. He has had a strange life, is an alcoholic and drug abuser. He was also abusive to me, and that is why we are not together. His relationship with Spane is odd at best, as they seem to get along very well together, and are quite similar in temperament. Douglas loves Spane very much. Douglas originally comes from Rochester, New York, and was previously married with two children. There is evidence that there are three additional children, but I cannot confirm this. Spane could have a big family!
Stephen Osworth Yankee
Stephen and I were boyfriend and girlfriend when I was 19 years old. Stephen is gay, and I tried for a few years, and then I finally gave up, and we drifted away from each other. We had had one really big fight, and I had to call the police because he had hit me. The next day, I got my stuff and moved in with my best friend, Biba. That was in the late 1979. Suddenly, in May 2009, Stephen called me and said he was very ill, and I told him that he could come stay with us until he got better. He and Spane got along famously, and Spane said the he wanted Stephen to be his Dad. Stephen loved Spane and took him every where with him. At the time, I did not realize that Stephen was another abuser, as he systematically tried to alienate me from everyone, including my son. He moved out on December 31, 2009. We have not seen him since. The cat in the picture is Rolo.
Maria T
I have known Maria T since Spane was 4 months old. She is a great woman, a Catechism teacher, and the best child care provider in the world - hands down. we met when Maria was doing child care at Holy Family at the 8:00, 9:30 and 11:00 Masses. She is not doing that anymore because the new Pastor decided our parish didn't need it - he's rethinking that decision now. However, Maria is conservative, and sometimes we do not see eye to eye. Maria is like the Rock of Gibraltar, and nothing will change her. Maria loves Rolo very much, and Rolo loves her. Our friend John Farion always calls her "The Fabulously Over Dressed Maria" because she wears wonderfully tasteful costume jewelry. She always looks fabulous!
Rolo Louise Boswell, Princess - Computer Cat - Knockeroffer, Turneroffer

Okay, Rolo is not a person, but she is part of our family. Rolo is a female Maine Coon, and is a year younger than Spane. She has many names, including:

  1. Alarm Clock because she wakes you up by gently inserting one claw in your face
  2. Knocker Offer - because she gets bored and starts knocking things off with her paw.
  3. Knocker Offer - because she's really big and sometimes she knocks things off when she is turning around.
  4. Huntress - because she has caught 4 mice, two lizards, and 8 birds.
  5. Turner Offer - because she has stood on the power strip and turned it off.
  6. Message Cleaner - because she sat on the answering machine and erased all the messages.
  7. Paw Shaker - because she will shake paws if offered a cashew!

Princess Rolo has a Princess Barbie dry food dish, and a Princess Barbie plate. She also has a rhinestone encrusted pink collar that Maria bought for her. We are trying to find her a nice Barbie water dish. It's on Spane's Wish List at Amazon.
